We develop fully engineered solutions for many scientific disciplines, drawing upon our wide-ranging world-class engineering expertise.
We work directly with scientists, realising their goals through building experimental equipment to push science exploration.
Our skills and expertise from experimental research are then applied to a broad range of customer applications beyond fundamental research.
We take our customers from their initial concept, through the engineering, delivery and commissioning of a complete system. We tackle any project challenges as they come up and often draw on specialist skills from across the organisation to form a complete project team.

Our project highlights include:
- Designing, prototyping, manufacturing, and delivering suspension technology for LIGO.
- Contributing instrumentation for the Large Hadron Collider’s ATLAS experiment at CERN.
- Supplying cryostats for the Atacama Large Millimetre Array (ALMA).
