Large facility control systems e.g. the DIAMOND Synchrotron Control system. These may be physically and/or functionally distributed, and typically have from 10,000 to 100,000 channels. High-integrity personnel protection systems require initial system analysis, logic design leading to hardware design. More sophisticated systems have remote monitoring and reset. Our systems are fully compliant with the Ionising Radiation Regulations and IEC61508 Functional Safety. We do design of specialist interface and acquisition electronics e.g. CAMAC, NIM, VME, FPGA, Microcontroller, CANbus. Commissioning, maintenance and repair of complex electronic systems (both commercial and bespoke) is available. |
